About Benchmark
Learn About the brand
The story of Benchmark begins with Tom Tosyali, an immigrant who arrived in the United States from Turkey knowing just one person, who happened to live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. With limited resources but an unwavering sense of purpose, Tom set out to build something lasting. What he built was Benchmark, now one of the most respected wedding band manufacturers in the United States, still proudly made in Tuscaloosa more than 50 years later and now led by the second generation of his family.
From the beginning, Benchmark set itself apart through process. Every Benchmark ring is die-struck, a method that compresses metal under thousands of pounds of pressure to produce a piece that is significantly stronger, more durable, and more brilliantly finished than cast rings. The result is a wedding band that holds its shape, its luster, and its detail through decades of daily wear, exactly what a ring meant to last a lifetime should do.
The collection spans a remarkable range of styles and materials. Classic designs in yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, and platinum offer timeless elegance for brides and grooms who want a ring that never goes out of style. Contemporary metals including tantalum, cobalt, Damascus steel, and tungsten bring a modern edge to the men's band category, with options in brushed, hammered, polished, and textured finishes. The exclusive Ammara Stone line fuses gold with contemporary metals for a two-tone look that is distinctly Benchmark. Diamond and gemstone options are available throughout the collection, featuring ethically sourced, conflict-free stones.
Benchmark also backs every ring with a lifetime warranty, because they build their rings to last and stand behind that promise completely. At Pearce Jewelers in West Lebanon, we carry the Benchmark collection for both women and men. Stop in and try them on. A ring this well made deserves to be felt, not just seen.
